Masindi District is divided up into four health sub districts with 2 hospitals and 2 health centers IVs, 12 health centers IIIs, 6 health centers IIs functioning as health centre IIIs and 21 health centers IIs. Four other health centers IIs are near completion and are yet to be operationalised.   

Human Resource

The are a total of 400 Medial Workers in the district of which 16 are Doctors 20 Clinical Officers 64 Nurses 45 Midwives 5 Dentists 4 Laboratory Technicians 0 Pharmacists and 135 Nursing Assistants.
