This is a District wide NGO, that supports the Education sector and provides capacity building in form of Human resource, networking, and construction of school infrastucture. Masindi Project Social Services It is a District wide NGO that embarks on provision of revolving heifers to the poor. support to orphans through provision of school fees and othet scholastic materials, protection of springs and immunisation and family planning services. Nature Conservation Protection Association (NACOPRA) It operates in Karuhubu and Nyagahya Sub Counties and does research, Community mobilisation and sensitization, forest conservation and tree planting within the communities. Protecting Families Living with HIV/AIDS (PREFA) This operates in the entire District and provides PMTCT services, home to home counselling and testing and nutrition for HIV clients. Red Cross, Masindi Branch It operates in the whole District and avails relief services, blood donations and tracing lost family members. The Aids Support Organization (TASO) This is a District wide NGO that provides counseling and VCT services, medical care, social support, capacity building and networking, community mobilization and sensitization and infrastructural development.
