RoadsThe total road network in the district is 3025 kms.  287 kilometers are classified as national roads of which 84km are tarmarked and 203km are of gravel. 738km are classified as District roads of which 65% are in good/fair motorable condition. 2000km are community access roads with a 37% motorability.    The biggest challenge in this sub-sector is both maintenance and opening up of more roads at community level to enable the increasing population to access social services such as Education facilities, Health centres and markets among others

The District has 7 (seven) major bridges which include;Kafu,Karuma,Waaki,Siiba,Waiga,Kikonya and Tantara

The key roads leading to neighbouring district and major economic/commercial terminal are; Masindi – Kafu road, Masindi – Kisalizi road, Masindi – Kigumba road, Kigumba –Kiryandongo-Bweyale- Diima - Karuma road,  Masindi – Kabango – Biiso road, Karongo –Waaki road, Kasenene – Waaki road, Kamurasi –Kijunjubwa – Kafu road
