Agro Max Hands Over 198 million Shs Project to Beneficiaries.

Agro max agriculture Business Company has today handed over commercial Agro- Nursery and Micro irrigation project worth 198 million shillings to Kisengya NUSAF3 group members.
Speaking during the hand over of the project to beneficiaries, the Principal Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (PACAO), Richard Kiiza thanked Agro max company for supporting the farmers in Nyangahya water shed.
He has however,urged the group members to work hard and sustain their project since its income generating.
Kiiza also advised members to sparingly use the irrigation system, “use the irrigation system in the dry spell, for now save it since we are still having rainfall, “he said.
He also assured the beneficiaries that Agro max will market their vegetables and earn high returns.
Speaking at the same event, the Head of Business Development, Agro max company, Gilbert Alinaitwe Balinda encouraged the group members to work hard saying that they can able to generate 70-90 million shillings per harvest.
William Mugisa,the NUSAF3 Coordinator, applauded the CAO’s office together with the political team for availing arable land to the group members who have benefited from the project financially since its inception.
Mugisa added that, the project has also helped community members in serving them clean and accessible water since Nyangahya Division had for long faced with a challenge of water shortage.
The beneficiaries hailed the district leadership, Agro max and NUSAF3 for alleviating them from poverty.
