 The Objective of the Natural Resources department in Masindi District are :-

• To improve on the tree coverage and peoples incomes through farm level tree planting.
• To promote community participation in wetlands management
• To ensure fair utilization of land by the community of Masindi District.
• To ensure proper physical planning of urban areas
