Avoid extortion of PDM-CAO

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Masindi, Tappy Namulondo has today cautioned Parish Chiefs against involving in extortion of the Parish Revolving funds.
Tappy says,the President has laid much emphasis on successful implementation of government programs especially the Parish Development Model strategy where he has on a number of occasions spoken tough against any one who will fail this strategy.
CAO's message,comes at a time when His Excellency the President is expected to visit Masindi district on 20th September this year,where he will hold a public rally aimed at tackling poverty eradication among other critical issues of service delivery.
She delivered her message during aPDM implementation meeting that was held in the district council chambers.
Speaking in the same meeting,the Secretary for Finance Pamela Nyakato who represented the District Chairperson, called upon Parish Chiefs who are lagging behind the implementation of PDM to double efforts so that the district performance at National level is improved.
While closing the meeting,the Assistant Resident District Commissioner, Patrick Asiimwe appealed to extension workers to advise farmers to desist from unscrupulous agro-input dealers so that their crop production is not affected.
