Masindi District Chairperson Cosmas Byaruhanga,has underscored the need for civil Servants to embrace Public accountability and transparency to enable the community appreciate the services they get.
He said this yesterday,while opening an inception meeting on Focus Group Discussions to welcome the new project dubbed "Strengthening Systems and Public Accountability Activity (SSPA)", held at Country Inn Hotel.
The new project is funded by USAID and UKAID.
Speaking in the same meeting, Damalie Namuyiga from SSPA told participants that this project will focus on key areas of interest including Wild Life, Oil and gas, Education,Health,Audit among others.
