Fish Farmers in Masindi District yesterday received more fingerlings as supplements from The NAADS Sectretariat through the Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) Program.
According to the Principal Fisheries Officer Masindi Prudence Alituha, the consignment delivered to the District was 60,000 Fish Fingerlings which included cat fish and clarias gariepinus.
The Fingerlings were given to the 12 Fish Farmer Groups which are in the District.
The Beneficiaries after receiving the Fingerlings expressed joy and they promised to feed the young fish well in order to reap much income at maturity level.
