Kinyara Sugar Limited donates food relief items to residents hit by floods

The Management of Kinyara Sugar Limited has this afternoon donated 300kgs of maize flour and 75 kgs of sugar to the residents of Kimengo Sub-County who have been hit by heavy floods.
Speaking as he received the food relief items at Kimengo Sub-County headquarters,the District Chairperson Cosmas Byaruhanga, lauded the Management of Kinyara Sugar Limited for rescuing the affected homesteads timely.
He called upon other well-wishers to support the affected families as the district seeks for support from the Office of the Prime Minister.
Speaking on behalf of Kinyara Sugar Limited,the Corporate Communications Manager,Aldon Walukamba,said as a company they sought it befitting to rescue the affected families with what they had as an entity.
More than 200 homesteads in the villages of Kayera, Kabogoba and Kayebe have been heavily hit by the floods.
