Following the execellent service that Sight Savers has exhibitted in Masindi District since 2012, the District Council yesterday rewarded Sight Savers with a Certificate of Appreciation for helping the people with Disabilities.
Sight Savers has alleviated the people with Disabilities out of Poverty, they have treated people with eye defects, they have supported the vulerable people in vocational institutions to attain hands on skills, they have re-instated capacity building for people with disabilities among others.
Their Appreciation came yesterday as Robinah Katusiime a Female Councilor representing People With Disabilities raised a motion to recognise their performance in the District, during a District Council Pleanary that was held in the District Council Chambers.
