Thousands of mourners pay tribute to the former District Boss amidst tears

Thousands of mourners yesterday thronged Kinuma village in Miirya Sub-County and buried the former District Chairperson Isingoma Wilson Mugimba amidst tears.
Addressing mourners as the Chief Mourner,the State Minister for Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities Hon.Martin Mugarra Bahinduka who represented the President,told Mourners that the deceased was a peace maker who also told the truth at all times.
He also assured mourners that,the Elephants and Hippos which usually destroy crops of farmers will be whisked back to the gazetted areas and also find lasting solution to deter them from straying to people's plantations.
He later, handed over shs 10 millions cash to the family of the deceased as condolence contribution from His Excellency Yoweri Museveni.
Speaking at the same event,the NRM District Chairperson Kabakumba Labwoni Masiko asked the current leaders in service to utilize the leaders who retired to tap into thier vast knowledge and skills to improve thier leadership skills.
She also urged the family of the deceased to keep the property of the late intact and remain united as family.
The former State Minister for Bunyoro Affairs, Ernest Kiiza, described the gallant former District Boss as a person who was ahardworking and reliable leader.
The District Chairperson, Cosmas Byaruhanga said that Mugimba had allot of gifts which among others included peace,love and creating friendship.
He added that, Mugimba layed much emphasis on working on roads which were in a sorry state in the district.
Masindi District Local Government, contributed condolences worth Shs 3.6 millions to support burrial of the body of the deceased.
Mugimba served as the District Chairperson from 2011-2016.He is survived by awife children and grand children.
His casket was laid down amid tears rolling from mourners who turned up for his burrial.
