209 Students graduate from the Bunyoro Zonal Industrial hub

209 Students yesterday graduated with level one certificates from the Bunyoro Zonal Industrial hub in Masindi after successfully completing the six months training in vocational studies.
The students graduated in tailoring, carpentry, welding and hair dressing.
Speaking as the Chief Guest,the State House Controller, Jane Barekye said the objective of the Presidential industrial hubs is to equip youths with hands on skills to enable them create jobs.
She also, pledged to fulfill the outcry of Kimengo Sub-County residents by extending piped water and electricity to the locals.
She appealed to leaders to position graduands to benefit from the government programs.
Speaking at the same ceremony,the Member of Parliament for Buruli County,Hon.Aled Akugizibwe advised the graduates to exhibit discipline while in the working environment outside the industrial hub.
The District Chairperson who also doubles as the Zonal hub Chairperson,Cosmas Byaruhanga lauded the NRM Chairperson Masindi, Kabakumba Masiko for supporting him in acquiring 100 acres from Uganda Investment Authority (UIA)where the institution is seated.
The Industrial hub manager, Turyahebwa Scovia Agatha,said that each district in Bunyoro was allocated aslot of 22 trainees but11 students dropped out due to ailments like asthma, sickle cells and ulcers.
She further explained that,64 students graduated in tailoring,42 in carpentry,67 in welding,37 in hair dressing and the total male students were 101 while the females were 98.
