Bantwana Initiative Uganda (BIU) introduces new project called REAL Fathers

In abid to empower Men to be responsible Fathers, Bantwana Initiative Uganda (BIU),is implementing a new project dubbed "Responsible Engaged And Loving"(REAL) Fathers.
According to Herbert Aheebwa,the Project Coordinator, emphasized the need for Fathers to be REAL Fathers inorder to have responsible families.
He says,the project is targeting Young Fathers aged 18-25 years especially first time Fathers with children aged 0-3 years.
Aheebwa revealed that,they are working in eight districts of Hoima, Kikuube, Masindi, Kiryandongo, Soroti, Serere, Katakwi and Amuria with a target of 425,000 children and 37,778 Young Fathers targeted yearly.
He said this today, while addressing stakeholders during an awareness meeting on the REAL Fathers project that was held in the district council chambers.
Speaking during the same meeting,the Principal Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (PACAO)Musa Kyamiza urged the project implementers to focus on preaching good moral values and traditions.
