Bunyoro Affairs Minister Hands Over Cheques Worth shs 385 Million to Micro-Project Groups and Parish Community Associations

The State Minister for Bunyoro Affairs,Hon.Jennifer Namuyangu Kacha yesterday handed over 250 iron sheets and dammy cheques worth Shs 385 millions from the Office of the Prime minister (OPM) to Micro-Project Groups and Parish Community Associations (PCA) in Masindi District.
Addressing the beneficiaries at Masindi Municipal headquarters,Hon.Namuyangu, clarified that over shs 48 m will benefit Micro-Project Groups,shs 96 m will benefit Parish Community Associations while shs 240m will help to construct structures at Bigando Primary School.
She also, handed over 100 iron sheets to the three legislators to support thier electorates ,200 iron sheets to the District Chairperson and 200 iron sheets to the Municipal Mayor and over 400 iron sheets to institutions that include;UTC- Kyema,Kyema Primary School, Kabango Mosque and Kihuuba Community Seed Sec.School.
Dr.Florence Asiimwe,the District Woman Member of Parliament called for the consideration of Masindi General hospital renovation in the new budget of FY 2022/2023.
On his part,the Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Emmy Ngabirano pledged total commitment to monitor and supervise government programs.
