Kyatiri Town Council grapples with garbage collection

In abid to establish proper waste collection and management,the District Woman Member of Parliament for Masindi Dr.Florence Asiimwe has said that she will lobby for a truck that will support the Kyatiri Town Council in management of gabbage.
She also told the residents that she will lobby for the upgrading of their health Centre that is currently at Health Centre III to Health Centre IV status so as to provide improved health services.
She was addressing a gathering at St.Mary's Kyatiri Primary school yesterday during the Women's Day celebration where she officiated as the Chief Guest under the,"Accelerating Gender Equality for Action".
Speaking at the same function,the Minister of State for Public Service,Hon.Mary Grace Mugasa appealed to Women to also support their husbands through engaging in income generating activities such that the families prosper.
She also called for the promotion of the education of boys since the girl child has been considered over time neglecting the boys which creates a risk of having many illiterate boys.
On his part,the Member of Parliament for Buruli constituency,Hon.Aled Ronald Akugizibwe assured the residents that with his tested lobbying skills that has made strides,will enable him attract government funds to boost the Community Secondary School that recently started.
The Chief Administrative Officer(CAO) Masindi, Tappy Namulondo challenged the women to embrace government programs in order to improve household income.
