Masindi RDC advises the community to promote basic education of learners

The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Masindi, Emmy Ngabirano has advised communities to promote basic education of learners, practice good health and develop a saving culture inorder to thrive through the Parish Development Model (PDM) strategy.
The RDC was addressing stakeholders yesterday,as he closed the PDM engagement meeting that was held at Country Inn hotel.
Speaking in the same meeting,the District Chairperson Cosmas Byaruhanga, called upon civil servants to embrace PDM to enable the strategy succeed.
He also requested the Extension Workers to provide extension services equitably to all farmers so that they add value to their inputs through knowledge gained from extension support.
The Principal Assistant Chief Administrative Officer (PACAO)Musa Kyamiza, who represented the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)in the meeting, revealed that the district has disbursed more than shs4.9billion to all the Parishes and Wards in the district.
He appealed to the stakeholders to encourage wealth creation and promote improved social economic services within the locals.
