The Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Masindi Emmy Ngabirano,has appealed to the Contractor Doramine Enterprises Ltd to do quality road works on Ibaralibi-Alimugonza to Kitanyanta road.
He made the appeal today, while launching the rehabilitation of this 23km road stretch worth Shs 1billion at Tantala Trading Center in Pakanyi Sub-County Masindi district.
Speaking at the same event,the District Chairperson, Cosmas Byaruhanga assured the residents of Tantala that only box Culverts will be installed since they are strong and durable.
The Principal Assistant CAO, Richard Kiiza encouraged the business owners in the area to remitt taxes since the road network will now be improved and thus making trade easy.
The Director Doramine Enterprises Ltd, Daniel Twinamatsiko Mwine, pledged to execute quality road works.
The District Male Councillor for Pakanyi Sub-County, Mathias Tende cautioned residents against reckless riding since road works will be ongoing.
