Business Entrepreneurs’ Advised to Embrace the Framers' Bank

Business entrepreneurs including farmers in Masindi District have been advised to embrace the farmers’ Bank because it will increase their productivity and boost their saving.
Speaking to entrepreneurs today while in a training of formation of the Farmers’ Bank held at the District Headquarters, Dr. Moses Barigye Rwamahe the Coordinator of Agro-Business Support Initiative (NASI) disclosed that most commercial banks aim at repatriating profits to their foreign countries and charge farmers high interest rates and yet with the Formulation of the Farmers’ Bank, the Entrepreneurs will reap their profits highly.
He has therefore appealed to the Entrepreneurs to consert efforts in formulating the Farmers’ Bank in order to improve their economic welfare and social welfare.
Speaking in the training, the Chairperson of Masindi District Community Association, Abdallah Sserunkuma has called upon the business entrepreneurs to work hard in order to succeed in the process of formulation and formalization of the farmers’ Bank.
On her part, the District Female councilor for older persons, Zebby Baitwaki appreciated NASI for imparting knowledge on the Entrepreneurs saying that this will encourage many to embrace the idea of Farmers’ Bank. She later, requested for more trainings on the formulation and formalization of the Farmers’ Bank.
