Thousands of mourners send off DEO Komurubuga,the Proprietor of Country Inn Hotel

Thousands of mourners from all walks of life on Monday thronged Kyakatabuka cell in Kiryanga Ward, Nyangahya Division in Masindi Municipality to eulogize the send off of the Managing Director Country Inn Hotel Deogratious Komurubuga.
Komurubuga succumbed to diabetes on 11th July this year at his home,adisease he has been battling with for along time.
He once served as the LCIII Chairperson for Masindi Town council before it was elevated to attain the Municipality status.He also served as the first NRM District Chairperson.He has been an Entrepreneur and the Proprietor of Country Inn Hotel but he was also the head of laity at Nyamigisa Catholic Parish and agreat opinion leader.
Komurubuga died at the age of 69 and he is survived by awife children and grand children.
Addressing mourners as the Chief Mourner,the State Minister for Local Government Hon.Victoria Rusoke Businge who represented the President,said the deceased has left a legacy which he worked for when the NRM was assuming power.
She therefore, asked the family members to protect the property of the deceased.
The State Minister also appealed to the mourners to join efforts in the fight against corruption and also embrace government programs like the Parish Development Model (PDM)to be able to attain wealth.
She later delivered shs 10 millions cash condolence contribution from His Excellency Yoweri Museveni.
While leading the send off mass of the body of Komurubuga,the Bishop of Hoima Catholic Diocese Rt.Rev.Vicent Kirabo described the late as a person who loved the Catholic faith and also he wanted to prosper in his businesses.
The District Chairperson, Cosmas Byaruhanga described the late as a person who was gifted by God with talents as someone who served in politics, religion and in business sector.
He later, appreciated all organisations and people who have contributed condolences to support the family of the deceased.
He later delivered shs 1million as condolence contribution from Masindi District Local Government.
