Shs 2billion Seed Secondary launched for construction in Masindi

The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Masindi, Darius Nandinda has today launched the construction of St.Andrea Kaahwa Community Seed Secondary school at shs 2b with a call to the district leadership to prioritize advocating for the teachers who are volunteering so that they are recruited on a permanent basis when government has advertised in the future.
He also commended the support the Catholic Church has offered inform of land which has facilitated the new infrastructures.
The project is being manned by SEMWO Construction company limited and he is expected to complete works by June next year inorder to meet the deadline as UGIFT project will close at the end of this financial year.
Speaking at the same function,the Member of Parliament for Buruli County,Hon.Aled Ronald Akugizibwe said his utmost aim was to bring back to his electorates through lobbying for them huge projects in the education sector like Seed Secondary schools so that the children get affordable education.
On his part,the District Chairperson Cosmas Byaruhanga,lauded the Member of Parliament for Buruli together with the District Councilors from Labongo Sub-County for fighting hard to ensure that they secure the Seed Secondary school.
He however,tasked the contractor to deliver quality work.
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Masindi Tappy Namulondo, challenged parents to invest in educating thier children because it's the highest return on investment.
She also appreciated government for promoting science studies as this aims at increasing research to improve on the economy.
