Micah Asiku, a Researcher from Advocates Coalition on Development and Environment (ACODE) has underscored the need for District Councilors to respect and adhere to the Standard Rules of Proceedure.
Addressing District Councilors during their Two Day induction Training held at Country Inn Hotel last week on Wednesday and Thursday, Asiku who was the Facilitator advised Councilors to follow the Standard Rules of Proceedure and respect all Council Documents to be able to create harmony in the Council chambers.
"Always Research, Consult as much as possible and interest yourselves in reading to be able to equip yourself with accurate and up to date information" said Asiku.
Speaking in the same meeting, The CAO Masindi, Phionah Sanyu urged the Councilors to support the Technocrats in implementing the Parish Development Model (PDM) Program to enable spur Economic Development among Locals in the District.
Meanwhile, The District Chairperson, Cosmus Byaruhanga during the Closure of the Two Day Induction Training, Implored Councilors to actively participate during Council Sessions and to always remain as a team in order to achieve Development of the District
